Georgina Michael
As an accomplished marketing and advertising professional, Georgina has spent 15 years leading advertising and marketing teams for companies across multiple industries including higher education, financial services, consumer packaged goods and retail industries. Originally from London, UK but now living in Boston, MA, Georgina has worked with a variety of companies including two start ups and a global marketing consultancy.
Georgina established herself as an advertising and marketing professional at Conrad Advertising, London where she headed up the client services division working on accounts such as Airtours, Hilton Hotels, Thomson Travel and Choice Hotels. As a senior management member she was instrumental in building and leading the client services team of 12 executives from $2million to over $10 million. She then moved on to a global marketing consultancy start up working on Hasbro, McDonalds, Shell, General Mills and Mattel where she was a member of the senior management team, overseeing the client services division for the London office.
She has been involved in numerous Pan European and Global marketing campaigns across multiple platforms addressing key campaign metrics also working with GE and Credit Suisse. She holds a Business Management degree from Sheffield University, UK and is currently undertaking her MBA from Simmons School of Management, Boston, USA. She currently lives with her American husband in Boston, MA.
Ms. Amelia J. (Lia) Spiliotes
Ms. Spiliotes is currently c0-founder President of ValeoVox and has more than 25 years experience in new venture development in both national and international markets. She has served as an executive advisor to Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare, financial services, publishing, information technology, consumer products and retail industries. Prior to ValeoVox, Ms. Spiliotes served in a strategic advisory role to emerging technology companies in the biopharmaceuticals arena at Leerink Swann & Co. working with early and mid-stage companies to secure financing through venture capital and strategic partnerships for business development and revenue growth. Before joining Leerink Swann, Ms. Spiliotes was founder and CEO of Predictive Sciences, Inc., an Internet start-up, employing new media and interactive technologies to advance collaborative care in the management of chronic diseases. Ms. Spiliotes was also a VP and Director of RR Donnelley Financial, where she had responsibility for running the Healthcare Communications Business. Through her management leadership and experience with other firms such as Computer Sciences Corporation, Arthur D. Little, Inc., and The Alexander Group, Ms. Spiliotes has worked with clients to maximize growth and profitability of existing and new businesses. Ms. Spiliotes is a recipient of a Robert Woods Johnson Foundation grant to develop interactive health management tools for the Hispanic community. She received a B.A. in Neuroscience from Smith College and a M.Sc. in Management from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
Michael Regester
Mike Regester was born and educated in Britain, Malaysia and Australia. He is a CPA in the USA and holds similar professional degrees in Canada and the United Kingdom, where he qualified in 1965. He holds an MBA, and has been licensed as a NASD principal. He heads his consulting company,RFCS Inc., which operates in the international capital, financial and management fields. He has held senior positions in a number of large international Financial Service companies, operating out of the USA, UK, and Canada through 2003. He has also served on a number of Industry boards in that industry. His personal interests include the Arts and sports activities. He has always been active in charitable activities, both communal and national. The latter include consulting services offered to small businesses through the SBA. He is married and has 2 adult children in Boston and Philadelphia.
